DAVID HUMPHRIES (Programme coordinator & band biographer)
David has been associated with Bunker Hill since its conception in 1971 and has acted in an administrative capacity and has written liner notes and biographies for the band. He was born in Harrow, Middlesex, England, a suburb in the north west of greater London and moved to Jersey in 1970. He worked with two local architectural practices before setting up his own office as an architectural consultant. He retired in 2004 which has given him more time to collect and listen to his favourite music. Apart from his involvement with Bunker Hill he was a committee member of the Jersey Jazz Festival between 1997 and 2002 and was primarily responsible for collating the biographies of the visiting artists and designing the programmes. |
