ANDREW TURNER (Rhythm Guitar, Keyboards & Vocals)
Andrew was born in London, England, and migrated to Australia with his family when he was 10. He first picked up the guitar when he was 16, inspired by his brother's schoolfriend a 15 year old classical guitar teacher. He played bass guitar in several bands, both Rock and Country, and played for 18 months in a folk duo, then spent 2 years in a band playing rock songs, covers and originals (recorded 5 originals in various recording studios). Andrew took a long break from music before a chance meeting with a guitar player coaxed him back to music, helping to record 4 songs. Through this guitarist, he met Bas and joined the new band they had formed together. Andrew played 2nd Guitar and keyboards (for the first time) and sang harmonies with this outfit. When the band folded, he formed an acoustic duo with Bas playing rock, blues and Jazz...He's still with him (and probably still annoying him!) he plays guitar, and sings, mostly harmonies. |
